About Healthy Action

East Africa’s people suffer from an alarming health situation. Healthy Action achieves change through unity: Civil society organizations (CSOs) have joined forces and ask governments to step up efforts to respond to this health crisis. Healthy Action empowers partner CSOs to effectively participate in formulating health policy priorities, monitoring their implementation and holding governments to account.Three advocacy campaigns are implemented in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. They are supported by capacity building and networking activities. Through its civic education component, the project involves community members into these campaigns. Read more...
